Haywood Ingle

Mr. Haywood Graham Ingle, age 83, of Burlington, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his residence after a brief illness.
Born in Alamance County, he was the son of the late Marion Ingle and the late Elsie Lowe and was married to Mrs. Evelyn Willard Ingle, who survives. Haywood was a veteran of the U.S Army and a former member of the American Legion. He retired from AT&T after 37 years of service and was a longtime member of Shallow Ford Christian Church.
Mr. Ingle is survived by his wife of the home; his son, Greg Ingle and his wife, Diana, of Whitsett; three daughters, Pamela Ingle of Wilmington, Beth Veeneman and her husband, John, of Tampa, FL and Beverly White of Graham; two grandchildren, Andrew (Kellie) Ingle and Madison Veeneman; three sisters, Pauline Baldwin of Gibsonville, Vallie Smith of Burlington and Katherine (Robert) Johnson of Kernersville; and two brothers, William (Barbara) Ingle and Talmadge Ingle, both of Gibsonville. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Eva McGuire; and two brothers, Howard Ingle and James Ingle.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Shallow Ford Christian Church by Rev. Steve Regan. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:45 - 2:45 prior to the service at the church.
