Hattie Marshall

Mrs. Hattie McKinney Marshall, 98, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health. Born February 29, 1912 in Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Pierson Brooks and Iona Kimbro McKinney, and wife of the late Otha Moore Marshall. She was a faithful member of New Covenant Fellowship and was retired from May Hosiery. Mrs. McKinney is survived by her daughter, Melba Hall of Burlington; grandchildren, Karen Faulkner and husband Michael of Burlington, Keith Hall and wife Sheree of Burlington, and Angie Hurley of Burlington; great grandchildren, Chris Faulkner and wife Abby, Kelly Stuart and husband Kevin, Daniel Hall and wife Brandy, Kyle Hall and wife Heather, Joey Blanchard and wife Lauren, and Cody Hurley; step great grandchildren, Bryan Turner and Josh Turner; great great grandchildren, Carter, Taylor, Hudson, Noah, Alivia, Chloe, Madison, and Ava; brother, Charles McKinney and sister, Dorothy Beal, both of Burlington. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Lillian Ross, Erma Ward, Mildred McNeil, Louise Thomas and Elva Klinger; brother, Marvin McKinney and son-in-law, N.L Hall. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Neff, Pastor Howard Thompson, and Pastor Bryan Turner with interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the daughter's home.
