Burlington - Harry Mason Clark, 88, of Wade Coble Drive died on Monday, September 11, 2006 at Duke University Medical Center. He was born in York, SC, son of the late William Mason and Lillian Kirkpatrick Clark and was married to the late Nellie Lucille Mooneyham Clark. He retired from Burlington Industries after 49 years of service and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where he had served as an Elder and Clerk of Session. Harry was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II serving in Europe where his unit supplied Patton's Third Army. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Mason and Janice Clark of Raleigh; daughter, June C. Lindsay of Farmville, VA; grandchildren, Tyler Mason and Megan Clark o Laurel, DE, Amanda Lee C. and Brock McCloskey of Clayton, Leslie Lindsay and Carl G. Mattacola of Harrodsburg, KY, Kristin Lindsay and David E. Mooney of Marietta, GA, C. Eric and Lynne R. Lindsay of Farmville, VA; great grandchildren, Andrew Eric Lindsay, Morgan Taylor Lindsay, Logan Lindsay Mooney, Harrison Davis Mooney, Gwyneth Caolin McCloskey, Isobel Caoimhe McCloskey and Ewan Brock Mason McCloskey; sister and brother-in-law, Joan Clark and Paul Netherwood of Joppa, MD, and brother and sister-in-law, John Kirkpatrick and Bobbie Clark of West Palm Beach, FL. The funeral will be held at 11:00 Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Powell Sykes and Rev. Dr. Linwood Cheshire officiating. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
