Harriet Walker

Harriet Cole Walker, 73, passed away Friday February 7, 2020 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family.  She was born December 1, 1946 in Alamance County to the late Harry and Helen Hensley Cole and was married to Edmond “Ed” Wyatt Walker, Sr.  for 54 years.  She enjoyed going to church when she was able and studying the bible.  She enjoyed drawing and writing, especially poetry.  She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Ed; daughters, Amanda (Stephen) Anderson, Lynde Bibee; a son Edmond “Eddie” W. Walker, Jr. (Angela); grandchildren, Joseph “Andy” (Cassie)Walker, Donavon Anderson, Chelsey Bibee, Wyatt Walker III, Chris Walker; great grandchildren, Vada Walker and Preston Walker.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Mikey Walker; a sister, Della Ramirez and a brother Jerry Lewis.

The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Wade Cox.  Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of her daughter Amanda.
