Gregory “Greg” Steven Dail, 59, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital. He was born in Alamance County on April 2, 1961 to the late Clarence David and Mildred Adrine Wright Dail who survives. He was the husband of 13 years to Gwynn May Lewis Dail of the home.
Greg was employed with Brady Services as a safety specialist. He was a member of Lamb’s Chapel; he enjoyed the outdoors, trips to the mountains, and enjoyed working his land with his tractor. Greg was remodeling a farmhouse that Gwynn and him was making their home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son who will be dearly missed.
Survivors other than his wife, Gwynn and his mother, Mildred, include his children, Jennifer Bryant (Dan), Christa May, Cooper Dail (Whitney) and Hunter Lewis (Kaitlin); his grandchildren that he adored, Jackson Bryant, Chrislyn May, Macy and Mia Dail; a sister, Sharon Hyler (Terry); brothers, Donald Johnson (Carol) and Jerry Wayne Johnson (Pam); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Tommy “Tom” Johnson and a sister, Kaye McKeel.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Andy Clapp with the burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Greg will be available for viewing from 8:00am to 1:45pm Tuesday prior to the service. The family will be at the residence.
