Graham

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Mathias Kleiman, lovingly known as Greg, who left this world peacefully at his residence on April 21, 2025, at the age of 48. Born on January 22,1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he brought joy and kindness into the lives of all who knew him.

Greg was a devoted husband to Regina Duty Kleiman, with whom he shared 23 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter, support, and countless cherished memories. He was not just a husband; he was a true partner, always there for Regina through the ups and downs of life.

As a father, Greg was the biggest supporter and cheerleader for his daughters, Liesel and Hazel. He found immense joy in attending their activities, inspiring them with his unwavering encouragement. Their annual trips to Myrtle Beach in November for Thanksgiving fireworks became cherished family traditions, moments filled with laughter and togetherness that they will hold close to their hearts forever. Greg had a special way of making every gathering festive and fun, as he loved to host and entertain at home. His vibrant spirit shone brightly when surrounded by loved ones, whether they were sharing stories around a campfire, enjoying live music or simply savoring the beauty of the great outdoors.

Greg embraced every moment of being a "girl dad," finding immense pride and joy in sharing life’s adventures with his daughters. He loved just being with his family if they were traveling, staying at home watching sports or just sitting on the porch playing with his French Bulldog, Todd.

He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill, where he actively contributed as a member of the Knights of Columbus. Greg’s faith was important to him, guiding him in his actions and shaping the compassionate man he was.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Regina, and their loving daughters, Liesel and Hazel, who will continue to carry forward his legacy of kindness and encouragement. His loyal canine companion, Todd, will also miss his constant presence. Greg’s mother, Paula Eppinghoff Kleiman; his sister, Julie Kleiman-Hill and her husband Derrick; a brother, Eric Kleiman, and his mother-in-law, Jeanette Duty, they stand united in their grief, holding onto the treasured memories they created together. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends whose lives he touched with his warmth and generosity. Greg has now reunited with his father, Mark Jeffrey "Jeff" Kleiman, and his father-in-law, Ralph Duty. Their absence is felt deeply, but the love and legacy will shine on in the hearts of their family.

A Funeral Mass to Celebrate the life of Greg will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 2:30 pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill, NC by Father Nicolas. The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm Monday, April 28, 2025 at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory in Burlington, NC.

Greg’s legacy of love, laughter and unwavering support will live on in the lives he touched, particularly in the lives of his beloved daughters and wife. He will be profoundly missed but forever cherished.
