Grady Starling

Grady Keith Starling, age 46 of Bellemont Mt. Hermon Rd. died on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at his home. He was born in Alamance County, son of Grady A. Starling and the late Myrtle Porter Starling. Keith was an employee of Barristers Cafe in Graham and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed doing karaoke and playing music as a DJ for different occasions, including playing and visiting at rest homes. Survivors include his father, Grady A. Starling of Burlington; aunts, Ruth Starling Reid and her husband Rev. David Reid of Asheboro, and Dorothy P. Simpson of Burlington, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Porter Starling and brothers, Gary Eugene Murphy and Walter Thomas Murphy. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. David Reid. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Sunday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of his aunt, Dorothy P. Simpson, 1716 S. Mebane Street, Burlington, NC 27215.
