Grady Ingle

Grady Robert "Bud" Ingle passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Duke University Medical Center following several years of declining health. He was married to Judith Dunlap Ingle for forty-nine years. He was born August 10, 1939 in Durham County to the late Grady Vance and Dewey Etta Walker Ingle. Grady worked at Engineered Plastics for thirty four years and later retired from the Town of Gibsonville. He attended New Hope Baptist Church enjoyed farming and collecting antiques. He was a wonderful father and husband who will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife of the home, sons: John Vance Ingle of Gibsonville, Gregory Alan Ingle and his wife Elizabeth Ann of Burlington, a sister Mary Ingle Brown of Burlington, sisters-in-law Emma Lee Ingle of Gibsonville, Mary Lou McPherson Ingle of Mebane, Carolyn Dunlap and Bob Bouffard and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: sisters; Virgie Ingle Huey, Lilly Ingle Foster, Rosa Lee Ingle Billings, brothers: Wheeler Hoskins Ingle, Keith Barrett Ingle, George Cornelius Ingle and Wade "John" Hampton Ingle. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Randy Hobbs and Rev. Ricky Lewis. Interment will follow in Springwood Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The visitation with reception will be held Monday 6-8 PM at Lowe Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the home.
