Gracie Linens

Gracie Manring Linens, 89, passed away at her home Thursday, December 17, 2020.  She was born July 12, 1931 in Stokes to the late Arthur and Elsie Sams Manring and was married to the late Taylor Jackson Linens, Sr. for thirty-two years.  Gracie enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips.  She had a great time shopping and taking her family out for meals.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her granddaughters.

She is survived by her children; Jack Linens, Rhonda (Bruce) Raskin; granddaughters, Alison (Shawn) Riggan, Leslie Raskin and companion David Matherly; great grandsons, Dean and Trevor Riggan; siblings, Margie Herndon, Janie (Ron) Rowe, Faye McCandless, Bill, Joe and David Manring.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; a son Mark Alan Linens; siblings, R.J., Ed, and Otis Manring, Ruby LaBarge and Catharine Moody.

There will be a graveside service 11:00 AM Wednesday at Alamance Memorial Park.

Due to Covid-19, the family asks that if you attend the graveside service, please wear a mask and use social distancing guidelines.
