Grace Pike

Grace Wagoner Pike, beloved wife of Charles S. Pike, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 24th at 5:30 pm. Grace was born in Washington, NC on September 27, 1919 to the late Robert R.E. Wagoner and Blossie Smith Wagoner. Grace was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed life. She loved everyone she met and always had a ready smile and laugh for all. Grace and Charles lived in New York, North Carolina, Maryland, and Texas leaving her family and many good friends to cherish her beautiful memory. Survivors include her husband Charles; daughter Penny Graham and her husband Reggie and their children Jenna, Richard, Carolyne, and Raymond of Mechanicsville MD; son Chip Pike and his wife Sue of Houston, TX; sister Patsy George Matkins of Burlington, NC; brother James Buddy Wagoner and his wife Nancy of Sneads Ferry, NC; and brother Ronnie Wagoner and his wife Barbara of Burlington, NC. Grace was preceded in death by her sisters, Maude Wagoner and Lessie Jimmy Faulkner. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
