Gordon Johnson, Sr.

Gordon Lee Johnson, Sr. 75, of 706 Huffman Mill Rd. passed away Friday, November 9, 2007 at the Hospice Home. Mr. Johnson was born in Johnston, Co. to the late Lewis Johnson and Ethel Jordan Thompson. He was the husband of 50 years to Mrs. Josephine Murray Johnson who survives. Mr. Johnson retired after many years of service from Container Corporation of America and was an Army veteran. Survivors other than his wife of the home include a daughter, Linda Hill and her husband Tim of Summerfield; two sons, Harold Johnson of Florida and Gordon Lee Johnson, III of Burlington; four grandchildren, David James D. J. Hill, Amber Nicole Hill, Travis Hill, and Justin Johnson. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by two sons, Gordon Lee Johnson, Jr. and Jerry Wayne Johnson.
