Glenda Workman

Glenda Cheryl Workman, 72, formerly of E. Shannon Drive, Burlington passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at her home in Charleston, SC. She was born on June 19, 1944 in Alamance County.

Glenda was formerly employed with Versatile Machine, Inc. for 15 years and she retired after 25 years with the Tool Store at Sandvik.

She is survived by her son, Timothy Lee Coble; grandchildren, Shannon Coble and husband, Shelby Roberson, Stephanie Bryant and husband, Kevin; brothers, Charlie and Steve Workman; sister, Sylvia Gail Caulder and husband, Ken; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Glenda was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Grady Comodoro Workman, Sr. and Vallie Kennedy Workman; father, Grady Comodore Workman, Jr. and a brother, Grady Workman III.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Bob Stephenson. There will be no visitation. Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Workman family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
