Gladys Koch

Burlington - Gladys Walker Koch, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. She was born in Alamance County on March 16, 1946 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Walker and was the wife of 49 years to Wade Thomas Koch of home.
Gladys was a member of Hopedale Church where she sang in the choir. She was an avid sewer, designer and line dancer. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Wade; son, Darren Koch and wife Misty; daughter, Cindy Crandell; grandchildren, Jessica Crandell, Christopher Koch, Sarah Crandell, Jennifer Koch; brothers, Lawrence Walker and wife Mary, Earl Walker and wife Shirley; sisters, Opal Sharp, Margaret Smith and husband Bob and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Roshelle Walker Williams.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00pm on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Dan Cubino with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 prior to the service at the Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the home.
