Gladys Hill

Gladys Nadine Dorsett Hill, 79, of Burlington, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Artis Senior Living of West Shore in Lemoyne, PA after a lengthy battle with Dementia.  She was born in Randolph County, NC on September 4, 1941 to the late Truman and Florence Farlow Dorsett.

Quiet and unassuming, but full of hope and dreams, she dedicated herself to her family and her church. To the many whose lives she touched, she is best remembered for her thoughtfulness, caring, and ever-ready helping hand.

Gladys is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Kenneth “Ken” Ray Hill of the home; two sons: Barry R. Hill and wife, Shelley, of Camp Hill, PA, and Scott Hill and wife, Grace, of Cleveland, OH; and three grandchildren:  Jonathan Hill, Jenna Hill, and Graham Hill.

She was preceded in death by three sisters:  Lucille Wall, Hazel Davis, and Alta Proctor.

A service to celebrate Gladys’ life will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Graham Friends Church at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Tom Barton with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening May 21, 2021 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their profound gratitude for the wonderful staff at Artis Senior Living and Homeland Hospice, who took such loving care of Gladys.
