Geraldine Jones

Mrs. Geraldine Mae Norland Jones, age 83, of 3615 S. Mebane St., died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Burlington Manor after several weeks of failing health. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Bruno Norland and the late Margaret Eleanor Norland and was married for over 24 years to Harold Howard Jones, who died in 1970. She was a LPN and retired from the Medical Center of Independence, MO. She was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Lynn Hale and her husband, Charles B., of Burlington and a daughter-in-law, Sharon West and her husband, John, of Belton, MO. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Gary B. Jones; two sisters; and five brothers. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Maryville, MO.
