Geraldine Hackett

Burlington-Geraldine Manning Hackett, age 80 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at ARMC. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Leven Turner "Bill" Hackett. Geraldine was a homemaker and attended Riverdale Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Marie Hackett of Burlington; sisters, Frances Manning Smith and husband, Gerald of Mebane and Sandra Manning Bell and husband, Edward of Burlington and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Clyde and Mae Munns Manning; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Manning and Gladys Christine Whitley and brothers, Clarence William Manning and James Kenneth Manning. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jonathan Graves and the burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
