Geraldine Burnett

Geraldine Carter Burnett,77, passed away Friday February 19th at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born June 20, 1943 in Alamance county to the late John Swain and Tessie Allen Carter.  She was married to the late Clyde Walter Burnett for over fifty years.  Geraldine retired from Glen Raven Fabrics, she was a kind loving woman who was full of life.  She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Wayne Duckworth, Ricky Allen (Tammy) Duckworth; a daughter, Darlene Gail (Patrick) Obryne; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a son David William Duckworth.

The graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday at Alamance Memorial Park.
