George Strockbine

George Elmer Strockbine, age 86, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Johnson City, NY, he was the son of the late George E. Strockbine and the late Dorothy Skinner Strockbine Butts and was married to Mrs. Beaulah Kay Jacobs Strockbine, who passed in January 2015. He was retired from New York State Electric and Gas with over 39 years of service. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. George is survived by his daughter, June Seigfred and husband, David, of Gibsonville; his son, John Strockbine and wife, Sandi, of Binghamton, NY; and a grandson, Chris Seigfred of Graham.
