George Pressley

George L. Pressley, 80, passed away Monday December 29, 2014 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Barbara Schneider Paisley. George had served in the U.S. Navy and was a college professor at Nassau Community College in Long Island, NY. He was a great guy by all who knew and loved him. He enjoyed disco roller skating and spending time with his family. George had a special place in his heart for all animals especially his dogs. George always made you feel like a friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife of the home, sons; Nwachi Dawn Pressley of Greensboro, Kevin Pressley of MD, daughters; Patricia Paisley of Seaford, NY, Kristine Danny Erath of East Meadows, NY and five grandchildren. There will be a time of sharing and celebrating of George's Life held 2:00 PM Thursday at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.
