George McCrory

Efland, NC George Shannon McCrory, age 58, of 7804 Harmony Church Road went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 15, 2007. He was a native of Clark County, Alabama and the husband of Deborah Debbie Lemoine McCrory who survives. George was employed with Kenyon Concrete Pumping in Summerville, South Carolina. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Christian Adults Sunday School Class. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Debbie Lemoine McCrory of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Meghan Jones and her husband, James of Summerville, SC; sons and daughter-in-law, Douglas Martin McCrory and his wife, Marie of Boiling Springs, SC, Joshua McCrory of Summerville, SC; grandsons, Ethan Harold McCrory and Deacon Joshua McCrory; sisters, Donna Anderson of Jackson, Alabama, Eyvonne Newton of Coffeeville, Alabama, Vickie Peters of Thomasville, Alabama, Becky Evans of Arlington, Alabama and Vangie Waltmann of Coffeeville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Minnie Mae Hare McCrory. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverside Baptist Church by Rev. Bob Stephenson and the family will receive friends following the service in the Believers Sunday School Class room. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
