Genevieve Hopkins Perry Stuber, age 77 went home to be with the lord on Saturday, August 16, 2014. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife o f the late Clarence Albert Stuber. Genevieve retired from GMAC Insurance Company after 21 years. She was a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her sons, Steve Stuber and wife, Tina of Lancaster, SC and Ronnie Stuber and wife, Debbie of Wilmington, NC; daughter, Sharon Oakley and husband, Mitch of Mebane; grandchildren, Heather Bowland, Steven Stuber, Elizabeth Crance and Anna Truesdale; great grandchildren, Cameron Bowland and Laura Beth Crance. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence Albert Stuber; parents, William Anderson Perry and Lois Vertie Hopkins Perry; brother, Harold Dean Perry. A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Stephen C. Rust, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Reidsville. The burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
