Geneva Goodman

Mrs. Geneva Clark Goodman, age 84, of 2840 Gibsonville-Ossipee Rd., passed away Sunday August 14, 2005 at the Hospice Home. A native of Rockingham County, she was wife of the late Clark Goodman and daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Roach Clark. She retired after twenty -three years of service from Lorillard Tobacco Co. and a member of Altamahaw Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Kay McMullan and husband Bob of Graham; son, Bobby Ray Goodman and wife Rachel of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Clark Goodman and wife Rebecca, Anne Marie McMullan Erickson and husband Ian; great grandchild, Victoria Goodman; sister, Alice Gertrude Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Clark and sister, Mamie Lee Sumner. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Burke family, Lois Bauder, Betty Hughes and Ethel Kirkman, the special friends who stood by their mother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday August 17, 2005 from the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mrs. Goodman will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 pm Tuesday.
