Gary Jones

Gary Neal Jones, 54, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Duke University Medical Center following a fall. Neal was born January 5, 1964 in Alamance County to the late Gene and Sally Beckwith Jones and was married to Ann McKinney Jones. He worked for Food Lion and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, biking and hiking trails. He helped coach numerous sports teams over the years and loved spending time with his family especially his grandson.
He is survived by his wife; daughters Amber Jones, Angela Green; sons, Jordan Neal Jones, Wesley "Joey" McKinney; grandson, Kayden Jeffries; sisters, Kelly Jones (Tim) Nicholson, Dena Bland and a brother Jamie (Sheena) Jones.
The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 25th at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Steve Pruitt and Rev. Howard Lowe. Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and at other times at Ann's Home.
