Gary Horner

Whitsett - Gary Joel Horner, 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born in Alamance County on January 28, 1936 to the late John C. and Merle Davis Horner and was the husband of 61 years to Wanda York Horner who survives.
Gary was an Elder and longtime member of Gibsonville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family at the beach. He was a devoted husband and father and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda York Horner; daughter, Tracey Loyd and husband Rob; son, Keith Horner and wife Liliana and a granddaughter, Mila Horner. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Ramona Kim Horner.
A service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Gibsonville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Elder Jason McMurray officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the Kingdom Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3401 Suits Rd, Gibsonville, NC 27249.
