Burlington- Gail Crutchfield, 74, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at ARMC. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late G.C. Crutchfield, Jr. and Birdie Wagoner Crutchfield.

Gail retired after 30 years as an Elementary teacher with EM Holt Elementary School. She enjoyed teaching and was a Clogging Instructor for several years. She enjoyed working with stained glass and created many works of art to be cherished by her family. Gail was an avid Duke fan often wearing apparel to show her Blue Devil pride. She will be missed by her extended family and friends.

She is survived by her nephew Ryan Crutchfield in Sligo, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William David Crutchfield.

A service to Celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 4, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Eric G. Rudd.  The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45pm PM prior to the service.  A private burial will take place on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
