Gabriele West

Mrs. Gabriele Bornstedt West, age 67, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Liberty Commons after several years of failing health.
Born in Kassel, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Joahim Fritz Bornstedt and the late Irene Christian Bornstedt and was married over 45 years to Jerry Michael West, who survives. She was a career homemaker.
Mrs. West is survived by her husband of the home; three sons, Stephen West and his wife, Holly, of Atlanta, Christopher West of Winston-Salem and Brian West and his wife, Rae, of Phoenix; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; a sister, Angelika Bornstedt of Cuxhaven, Germany; and a cousin, Ardythe Moriana of Los Angeles.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.
