Fronnie Dixon Litten born September 4, 1915 in Burlington, NC to Andrew Vance and Mary Hill Dixon, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 11. She was a life-long member of Faith United Methodist Church in Burlington, a loving Christian mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell F. Litten, son Russell V. Litten, great grandson, C. Adam Pugh and great granddaughter, Holly M. Pugh. She is survived by daughters, Dr. Amy Harman of Frostburg, MD, husband Dan, Priscilla Pugh of Raleigh, NC, husband Charles, Frances Williams of Swepsonville, NC, husband Roman, Doris Jones of Graham, NC, husband Mark, and Margaret Atkins of Liberty, NC, husband William; sons, Fred Litten of Southport, NC, wife Kathy, Gilbert Litten of Burlington, NC, ex-wife Beverly, Mike Litten of Haw River, NC, wife Dawn, Phillip Litten of Burlington, NC and David Litten of Irvine, CA; daughter-in-law, Pat H. Litten of Burlington; 27 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, January 14 at Faith United Methodist Church at 1732 West Davis Street in Burlington at 1:00 PM by Rev. William "Bud" Budzinski. Burial will follow the service at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 11:00 - 12:45. At other times the family will be at the Litten family home, 1729 Greentree Rd., Burlington. The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the nurses and staff at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell.
