Fredrick Henderson

Gibsonville – Fredrick “Fred” Bruce Henderson, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his home following several months of failing health. He was born in Guilford County on February 6, 1951 to the late Bruce P. and Emma Isley Henderson and was the husband of 46 years to Elizabeth “Libbi” Henderson of the home.

Fred was of the Baptist faith and was the owner/operator of Henderson Trucking Co.  He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed gardening and was a devoted husband and friend.

Survivors include his wife, Libbi; aunts, Barbara Cates, Frances Willoughby and numerous cousins.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Vickrey and Rev. Benny Vickrey with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:45 prior to the service on Tuesday and other times at his home.
