Freda Hoover

Freda “TT” Hollandsworth Hoover, age 75, passed away on June 10, 2021 while at the Northlake House in Charlotte. She was the daughter of the late Sylvan Jack and Lena Freda Marie Ehle Fry..

Freda was born on September 16, 1945 in Greenville, Ohio. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, singing in the choir and she loved traveling.  She retired from Princeton Machinery Service as a secretary.  Freda was of the Christian faith. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all her family.

Freda is survived by her husband after 15 years of marriage, Morris Lee Hoover, Jr of the home; son, Jimmie Hollandsworth of Bluefield, WV; daughter, Janie Slusarick and husband, Scot of Charlotte; grandchildren: Stanson Heath and wife, Brittany, Shawn Hollandsworth, and step-granddaughter, Zoe Slusarick; great grandchildren: Tierra, Kenny, Ronnie, Brock, and Charlotte; brothers: Rev. Dr. C. George Fry and wife, Amy, and Jon Paul Fry, both of Circleville, OH.

Along with her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her daughter, Janel Sands; two granddaughters: Ashley Hollandsworth and Summer Heath; and her widowed husband, Del Hollandsworth.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum, officiated by Rev. Ben Bishop. Visitation for family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service from 1:00 till 2:00 PM at Lowe Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimers Association, 4615 Dundas Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407. The service will be streamed and watched on line from the website.
