Greensboro Frank Boyd Routh, 98, of 9 Leitzel Ct. died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at his home. He was the son of the late William Vernice Routh and Theodosia Jenkins Routh and the husband of the late Arzie Schrum Routh. A native of Randolph County, he was a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church in Burlington, and the retired owner/operator of P&R Electric Repair in Burlington. He loved to volunteer with the Haw River Athletic Department helping with the football and basketball teams and also for eight years he was a chaperone for the Beta Club at Haw River High School. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Carter and her husband Glenn; two granddaughters, Deborah Lackey and her husband Joe and Iris Carter; great grandchildren, Janet Schmalfeldt and husband Peter, Elizabeth Steele and husband Daniel, Jason Lackey, Brice Schoolfield; greatgreat-granddaughter, Kelsey Eve Steele; sister, Aileen Troxler. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three sisters and five brothers. A graveside service will be held 11:00am Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Alamance Memorial Park.
