Frank Jenkins

Burlington, NC Frank C. Jenkins, age 76, formerly of Burlington died on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 in Trenton, Michigan. He was the husband of the late Ruby Terrell Jenkins and a retired employee of Ford Motor Company. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Frank Jenkins, Jr. and his wife, Angela of Michigan; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Short and her husband, Gary of Kentucky, Cindy Shimizu and her husband, Vince of Michigan; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Voila Smith of Burlington and Eula McGhee of Smithville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Tamlyn and Rosa Ann Wilson Jenkins and eight siblings. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Kerrs Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Marvin Simpson and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of his sister, Viola Smith, 5241 NC Hwy 62 South, Burlington, NC 27125.
