Francis "Frank" Robert Olenick

Francis “Frank” Robert Olenick, 91, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024 at Mebane Ridge Assisted Living. Frank was born on April 27, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph Olenick and Mary Gollatz Olenick and was married for over 68 years to Patricia Werhand Olenick, who survives. 

Frank was a proud veteran of the US Army and served in Korea. He worked for over 40 years as a diesel mechanic before his retirement in 1998. Frank and Patricia were member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Palos Hills, IL. They enjoyed traveling and Frank passed on his passion for cars to his sons.

Frank is survived by his loving wife; Patricia Werhand Olenick, his three sons; Robert Olenick and his wife, Sarah, William Olenick and his partner Elaine Gudmunsen, and Michael Olenick and his wife Cynthia. His granddaughter; Lauren Uda and husband Tommy, and grandson: Aaron Olenick. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers; Edward Olenick and Joseph Olenick.
