Frances Walker King

Mary Frances Walker King, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her church family and friends.  Frances was born on September 27, 1924 in Caswell County to the late Lloyd Webb Walker and Rena Neva Lynn Walker and was married to the late Leonard Lloyd King who died in 1967.

Frances retired from Macfield Textiles.  She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was a former member of the Ladies Visitation Group.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Walker; a niece, Cindy Walker; caregiver, Tracy Pike; and her church family.  Frances was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, Cecil Walker and her close friend, Christine Isley.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Tabernacle Baptist Church by Pastor Norman Fargis with the burial to follow at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 10:45am Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
