Frances Allison

Frances Gatlin Allison, 82, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Charlottesville, VA and was the daughter of the late James John and Ida Suggs Gatlin. She was a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church and the Friends Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Vernon Coy Allison of the home; daughter, Donna John Terrell of Burlington; son, Randy Michelle Allison of Belews Creek; grandchildren, Leslie Ray, Spencer Staci Poplin, Reagan Allison Vann Swaim; great grandchildren, Allison Ray, Ethan Poplin, Logan Poplin and Addison Jade Swaim and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, James and Jerry Gatlin. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Larry Redding and Rev. Bob Stephenson with visitation following the service. At other times the family will be at the home. There will be a private family graveside service at Alamance Memorial Park.
