Frances Allen

Frances Jacklyn Allen, 85, of Burlington went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Hospice Home. She was born in Guilford County and was the daughter of the late William J. and Mary Davis Allen. She retired from Ametek and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Ford of Graham, Patricia Randy Blanton-Patteson of Burlington; stepdaughter, Barbara Ann Nichols of Florida; stepson, Terry Barbara Sessoms of Greensboro; grandchildren, Kevin Abby Blanton, Brian Meredith Blanton, Amy Michael Lombardo; great grandchildren, Emma, Charlotte, Meghan, Mikey and Kaleigh and a sister, Colleen Bob Vaughn of High Point. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Robbie" Leon Sessoms, parents and a brother, Thurman Allen. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Pastor Ron Jones. The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the residence. The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the nurses and staff at Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, especially, Peggy, Phoebe, Olivia and Rosa for taking such good care of Ms. Allen.
