Forrest Denton

Forrest Junior Roy Denton, Jr. Burlington-Forrest Junior Roy Denton, Jr., 53, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at ARMC. He was a native of Tarboro and the son of the late Forrest R. Denton Sr. and Joyce Andrews Denton Dixon. Junior was employed with Efland Hosiery. He enjoyed playing computer games, camping and sitting around the bonfire with his family and friends. Junior had a love for the outdoors and never met a stranger. He is survived by his brother, Ronnie Denton of Rocky Mount; fiancée, Lisa Duckworth of the home; sons, Steven Denton and his girlfriend, April Garner of Burlington and Travis Denton of Randleman and Mitchell Duckworth; grandchildren, Emily Boggs, Boan Denton, Eden Denton, Michael Corbi ,Aceton Denton and Melaine Duckworth. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Belinda Brown. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Ricky Lewis. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45pm prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
