Floyd Underwood, Jr.

Mr. Floyd G. "Junie" Underwood, Jr., age 65, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a long period of failing health.
Born in Rockingham County, he was the son of the late Floyd Grant Underwood, Sr. and the late Elvie Ore Underwood and was married for over 39 years to Mrs. Terry Peeler Underwood, who survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked for over 22 years with ABCO Automation, Inc. He was of the Christian faith.
Junie was survived by his wife of the home; a daughter, Vicki Underwood of Burlington; and two sisters, JoAnna Goss of Concord and Donna Johnson of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Keri Underwood.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bryan Rainbow. The family will receive friends following the service.
