Flora Rainey

. Flora Cobb Rainey, age 93, of Rainey Drive, passed away at 11:35pm Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Hospice Home. A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of the late Coy Wilbert Rainey and daughter of the late Zachariah Henderson and Beulah Zola Teal Cobb. She was retired from Kayser-Roth Corp. and was active in Altamahaw Baptist Church and Kerrs Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mylundar R. Dunevant and husband Coy of Durham; son, A.D. Rainey and wife Joyce of Elon; daughter-in-law, Linda Rainey; son-in-law, Malcolm Stratton; sister-in-law, Pauline Cobb; 2 nephews and 1 niece; grandchildren, Cerita Massey, Kevin Stratton and wife JoAnn, Fayia Dawn Weatherly and husband Danny, Carol Stratton and husband Lindsey, Mark Rainey, Petey Rainey and wife Tina, Gwen Coffey and husband Devin, Brandi Rainey, Ronald Yeatts and wife Tammy, Tracy Kelly and husband Wally; great grandchildren; Coy Rainey, Tia Rainey, Rodney K. Dunevant, Whitney Ann Dunevant, Rainey Scearce, Keith Weatherly, Maddison Yeatts, Griffin Yeatts, Hannah Kelly and Brianna Kelly; 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; children, Wilbert Rainey, Jeanette Stratton and Mylona Yeatts; grandchildren; Rodney Keith Dunevant and Kim Seth Dunevant; brothers, Donnie and Hugh Cobb. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones. Interment will follow in Kerrs Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Rainey will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Friday. At other times the family will be at the home of Linda Rainey, 84 Rainey Dr. Elon.
