Burlington-Faye Renigar Wells, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Edgewood Place surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late James “J.B” Bernard Wells who died in 2016.
Faye worked for many years for Huey’s Seafood and later as a manager of food service for Mackey Company and also worked for Asher McAdams Drug Store and Hursey’s BBQ. Faye was an amazing cook and enjoyed providing meals for her family and friends. She was a member of Springlake Baptist Church and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Jeanette Wells of Lexington, Virginia; sons, Gene Steven Wells of Sarasota, Florida, Chris Warren Wells and wife, Lili of Sarasota, Florida and Robert Franklin Wells and wife, Lisa of Staunton, Virginia; grandchildren, Shannon, Ashley, Stephen, Sarah and Olivia and three great grandchildren; sister, Diane Bush and husband, Wally of Snow Camp and brothers, Paul Renigar of Burlington and Robert Renigar, Jr. and wife, Linda of Snow Camp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Robert Lee Renigar and Louise Shepherd Renigar and a brother, Jack Renigar.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 2:00pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Vickrey and burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45pm on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
