Faye Hamlett

Faye Wright Hamlett, 74, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at home. She was born in Fentress County TN, daughter of the late Elmer and Etter Coombs. She was married for 22 years to Berkley Hamlett who survives. She retired from LabCorp and was a member of Staley Memorial Baptist Church.
Faye is survived by her husband Berkley, son Eric, and brothers Kenneth and Gerald Coombs. She was preceded in death by parents and brother Alton.
The funeral will be held 2:30 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bennie Smith with burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:15 Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Staley Memorial Baptist Church 1446 N. Graham Hopedale Rd., Burlington, NC 27217.
