Faye Faucette

Faye Powell Faucette, 69, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Duke University Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on March 10, 1947 in Person County to the late Ernest Jackson Powell and Hazel Talley Bowman who survives; and was the wife to the late Johnny Larry Faucette who died in 2007.

Faye retired after 30 years with AO Smith in Mebane and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed dearly.

Survivors other than her mother, Hazel T. Bowman include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Rex Brann; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Carol Faucette; grandchildren, Casey Brann, Caris Faucette and Carlie Faucette; brother, Wallace Talley and wife, Mary Ann; sisters, Jean Barts, Becky Madren and husband, Boyd and Thresia Loy; several nieces and nephews.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband; father; grandson, Caleb Ross Brann; and a brother, Ronnie Dale Bowman.

The funeral service will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church with the entombment to follow in the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the sons' home in Mebane.
