Faye Atkinson

Faye Burke Robinson Atkinson, 80, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Hospice Home. Faye was married to the late George A. Robinson and the late John Atkinson. She was born May 30, 1934 in Guilford County to the late Grady Lee and Nancy Elizabeth Gurley Burke. She was a member of Ossipee Baptist Church and had served as a Sunday School Teacher. Survivors include her daughter Amber Robinson Lewis Herford of Burlington, a son George A. Robinson, Jr., a grandson Edward Lee Lewis and his wife Amber, a niece Judy Ann Demchak. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and a sister Mary Elizabeth Burke Demchak. There will be a private service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice Home, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
