Burlington, NC Eunice B. DeLoatch, age 89 of the Oak Creek Retirement Community died on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at White Oak Manor. She was a native of Yanceyville and the wife of the late William "Bill" DeLoatch. Eunice retired after 35 years with Southern Bell Telephone and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a caregiver for her family and friends over the years. Survivors include her son, Gary Brown and his wife, Gay of Greensboro; grandchildren, Hope Turner and her husband, Mike of Greensboro and Brad Brown and his wife, Chandra of Grand Rapids, Michigan; great granddaughters, Sydney Turner and Addyson Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill DeLoatch; parents, Bruce and Carrie Smith Bradner; sisters, Hannah Crumpton, Josie Scott, Jessie Cole, Martha Keasler and Polly Kirk; brothers, Mitchell and Bruce Bradner. The DeLoatch family would like to express their appreciation to all her family and friends, the Nursing staff of White Oak Manor and Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell for their kind and compassionate care for Eunice. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dale Walker and the burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or First Presbyterian Church, 508 W. Davis Street, Burlington, NC 27215.
