Eunice Boswell

Eunice McGaha Melton Boswell, 91, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Hospice Home. She was the wife of the late Frank Melton and John L. Boswell. Eunice was born August 25, 1922 in Dodge County, GA to the late Oscar James and Nannie Irene Parker McGaha. Following her parents death when she was five her grandparents then raised her. She had retired from Western-Electric and was a member of Hocutt Memorial Baptist Church. Eunice loved to travel all over the U.S. and the world. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her daughters; Judy John McHan of Indian Trail, NC, Brenda Pete Coggins of Haw River, NC, a step-daughter Sheila Andy Carman Pfafftown, NC, a sister Lillie Leveritt of Waycross, GA, grandchildren; Kim John Love, Kevin Heather Coggins, Kelly Tanya Coggins, John F. Brandy McHan, Jennifer Justin Mohl, nine great grandchildren, three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, parents, two sisters and two brothers. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Jimmy Nickelston, interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10 -10:45 Saturday prior to the service and at other times at the home of Brenda Coggins.
