Ethel Koehler

Gibsonville - Ethel Margaret Rouchon Koehler, 85, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Jefferson Parrish, LA on April 2, 1932 to the late Marius Joseph Rouchon and Bridgeit Roundtree Rouchon and was the wife to Walter Julius Koehler of 62 years who survives.

Ethel was a homemaker; she attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors other than her husband, Walter include their children, Annette Dirks and husband, John, Walter Koehler, Grace Testoff and husband, Steven, Barbara Bailiff and husband, Byron, Katie Reyes and husband, Mario; grandchildren, Katie Dirks, Julianne Dirks, Kristen Dinkins and husband, Michael, Bryan Bailiff, Kelli Reyes, Kaci Reyes and Marcus Reyes; and a brother, Marius Rouchon. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John and Richard Rouchon.

The funeral mass will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Rev. Paul Lininger, O.F.M, Conv. with the burial to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00AM to 10:45AM Wednesday prior to the service.
