Estelle Robertson

Josephine Estelle Carver Robertson, 82, of Elon passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of declining health. She was born in Person County to the late Harvey W. and Sallie Faulkner Carver and was married to the late James William Robertson. She was a former employee of Kayser-Roth Hosiery and she attended Staley Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Robertson of the home and sisters, Ruby Gates of Danville, VA and Lucille Parker of Mebane. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sisters, Shirley Duncan and Sue Roberson. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2013 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bennie Smith with interment to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 Friday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
