Estelle Bromilow

Gibsonville - Estelle Rosemary (Lynch) Bromilow always had a bright Irish smile that lit up her face, a positive attitude in the face of adversity, and a twinkle in her blue eyes in spite of struggles with health issues over the past 35 years. Her passing was peaceful on Nov 11, 2019 with her family present.

She had an artistic ability to make anything from intricate beaded jewelry, sewing tailored custom clothes, creative baking, stain glass figures, painting, decoupage and macramé.  Estelle was a lady in both spirit and manner.  Her greatest joy was having her two boys grow up and have families of their own. She gave to many charities, volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and managed the Naval Base Family Thrift Shop. She was born In Londonderry, Northern Ireland on June 23, 1941 and grew up in County Donegal, Ireland. Her husband, Neil, was the luckiest man alive when she finally said “Yes” in 1973.

She is survived by her husband, Neil Bromilow; sons, Ian James (Kelly) and Justin Frank Bromilow (Abigail); grandchildren, Nash, Isla, Cole, Harry, and Reid; sisters, Valerie Still (Farnborough, England) and Hazel Patterson (Belfast, Northern Ireland). She was preceded in death by her father, James Lynch; mother, Ethelyne Vesta Jean (Gallaugher) Lynch and brother, Leslie Samuel Richard of County Donegal, Ireland.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory by Rev. David Grinnell.  The family will receive friends following the service.  A private burial will take place in Gibsonville and Londonderry, Northern Ireland at a later date.
