Ernestine Adams

Burlington Ernestine Adams, 85, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Hospice Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Halifax County to the late Ernest and Inell Brannon Watkins and was married for almost 61 years to Connie M. Adams who survives. She retired from Western-Electric after 38 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Connie of the home; son, Jeff Adams of Burlington; three grandchildren, Miriam, Michelle and Marshall Adams; nieces and nephew, Dale Watkins, Beverly (Tom) Bell and Donna Eisenberg. She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Adams, daughter-in-law, Marsha Adams and a brother, James Watkins. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Tom Bell. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home & In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
