Ernest Roland Westfall

 Ernie Westfall, 78, most recently of Burlington, NC entered Heaven on November 30th, 2024. He was a wonderful husband and father, and loved being grandfather to his seven grandchildren. Ernie was a man beloved by all who knew him, demonstrating a quiet strength and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ throughout his life. 

 Ernie was the kind of man that never met a stranger, always gave encouragement and support without prejudice, and was known to be generous, humble, kind, and loving. He was also known to tell some pretty good jokes. 

 Ernie demonstrated a strong work ethic, and instilled that and his Christian values into his children. He also used his gifts and talents to bless others, and bring glory to God. Ernie loved to laugh, was always up for a road trip, and was a great listener. He deeply loved his siblings and extended family.

 He is survived by his three children; J. Matthew (Annie) Westfall and their daughter Lisa, Julie R. (Jimmy) Tsoukalas and their daughters Tina and Kat Tsoukalas, and Sia (Sam) DeRoo, Joni (Daniel) Webster and their three children Gracie, Dean, and Nick. 

 Ernie was preceded in death by his wife Brenda, with whom he enjoyed 21 years of marriage before her own passing into Glory in 1993.

 A service to celebrate Ernie’s life will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Harvest Baptist Church (3741 South Church Street, Burlington, NC 27215) officiated by his son-in-law, Pastor Daniel Webster. The visitation will be held from 12:30-1:45 prior to the service at the church.
