Ernest Fields

Ernest Lewis "Bo" Fields, 60, of Rumley Rd. passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Lee County, he was the son of the late John Lewis and Margaret Sue Maness Fields and the husband of 25 years to Katie McBane Fields, who survives. Bo was employed by Precision Fabrics in Greensboro and was an avid horseman. He loved his dogs, Winston and Lizzy, his best friends. Survivors other than his wife, Katie Fields include a daughter and son-in-law, Bonita and Jason Moon of Mebane; step sons, Gary Pennington of the home and Jared Pennington of Haw River; grandchildren, Dominick Moon, Lucas Moon and Nathan Moon; step grandchildren, Donavan Pennington, Briana Pennington, Kierra Pennington and Tuesday Pennington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Bobby Howell, Deborah and Bobby Davis, Shelia and David Seamster, Kathy and Ray Kimrey; father-in-law, Winston McBane. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Timothy Mark Fields. The funeral will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. Ernest Beck with the interment to follow in Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Monday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
